Grid Coupling Features

Taper Grid Coupling has the following characteristics and advantages: Cost-effective and easy to use

01. Parallel error

When the shaft is eccentric, the Grid operates in grove filled with grease to mitigate vibrations and shocks, without delivering unreasonable power. (Tolerance: 2 ~ 3mm)

02. Angle error

In the grooves of the HUB that have been cut into a curved surface with an angle of 2′-3 ‘, the grids are sliding and lubricated and delivered without any power loss by elasticity.

03. Axial flow error

Even if the drive shaft and the driven shaft vibrate in the 4 directions, the grids inside the HUB groove painted with grease can be freely operated till the bent part inside the grooves of the HUB, to prevent vibration transmission and to transmit power.

04. Flexibility to torsion

If the impacts, vibrations, overload, etc., caused during the machine operation are applied to the grid, the point of action of the force due to grid flexibility, is the movement of the tooth within the curved surface, and it reduces vibration and impact load.
